1 year ago Hi ! Usually we close the PRs and reproduce the change on the develop branch. For two reasons:
- anything pushed to main automatically update the containers (the one used in production) and we did not test the changes on other encironments first
- the main branch is replaced by the content of canary branch when we move releases from canary to production for instance
There is a specific process to fast forward a change to all environment I’ll show you. And in very specific occasions we can merge directly to main, but this is very occasional 🙂
