Finding the variance explained for # of dimensions #163

Hi, I am trying to fit my neural data to rSLDS framework. In order to chose a reasonable number of states and dimensions, I would like to calculate the variance explained for different # of continuous dimensions (similar to Figure S1D in your Cell paper on approximate line attractor in the hypothalamus encoding aggressive behavior (Nair et al., 2023)). Could you please help me out on how I can implement this?

I also have the same question...Have you figured it out?
