Update to 1.1.1 no longer works #353

I updated it to 1.1.2 and it didn't seem to work so I restored it back to 1.0.2 
so that I could update 
it back to 1.1.1 again but the new software doesn't seem to work for 1.1.1 
update. When I go to 
update it up to 1.1.1, I hold option and click update and select the downloaded 
1.1.1 firmware. 
Then I get an error in iTunes after it installs it. I close itunes, open 
iNdependence and the status 
reads (Connected to IPhone in recovery mode). What gives?
