Error registering for callbacks from iPhone #365

I get the following error after trying to restore to firmware 1.1.1:
"Error registering for callbacks from iPhone"
I followed Gizmodos instruction on how to jailbreak 1.1.2 iphone at
http://www.gizmodo.com.au/2007/12/how_to_install_applications_on.html
I was able to get the iPhone working with 1.1.1 but when I updated to firmware
1.1.2 I got a error
from iTunes that it could not update to 1.1.2. (since 1.1.3 is out, I selected
the firmware 1.1.2 by
holding down option and command keys and choosing "Update" firmware)
After that I tried again restoring the phone to 1.1.1 but when I run
Independence I get the above
error.
I used iTunes Mac ver. 7.6 and 7.5, I had updated to 7.6 2 days ago foolishly
and then installed 7.5
to do jailbreak, independence was still saying I had itunes 7.6, so I probably
didn't remove all itunes
7.6 system files.

I was able to fix this problem by jail breaking and updating to 1.1.2 firmware
with
iTunes 7.5 on Windows XP SP2, using iBrick, by following the instructions at:
http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=461
I then connect iphone to iTunes 7.6 on Mac and everything is syncing perfectly.
 Also
I was able to insert StealthSiM with my provider's SIM card and iphone works
perfect.

My iPhone is running perfectly and active in 1.1.2 but I get the error
"Failure: Error registering for callbacks from
iPhone". It was activated on a PowerMac G5 (10.4.11), and when I want to use it
in another computer (10.5.1) it
doesn't appear on iTunes. I tried then Incependence but I get the error. What
to do?
