No signal observed in the Linien interface #413

Hello, I need to use Linien for a project and I’m encountering some challenges. I have successfully installed Linien-server on the RedPitaya board, and likewise, Linien-client on my PC. I am able to launch Linien from my terminal, and the interface opens correctly—everything seems to be in order up to this point (I can even ping my laptop from my RedPitaya board). However, Linien is not detecting any signal, regardless of whether I attempt to send it through IN1 or IN2. (And of course, keeping the SCPI server disabled.) The operating system on my SD card is updated, I’ve recalibrated my RedPitaya accordingly, and I’ve even enabled external pinging to my PC to ensure that the board can properly communicate with my computer (I’m exploring all options). Despite my efforts, I cannot pinpoint the issue (additionally, the signal I’m sending to my board is indeed detected by its own oscilloscope or an external one, so the problem does not originate there). Furthermore, switching PCs did not resolve the issue, which suggests that it is not related to a firewall problem. I must confess that I am running short on ideas. Any external assistance would be greatly appreciated :)

Finally, it works! My version of Linien was apparently not compatible with the OS I had (the latest stable version, I believe) but with the beta version. I flashed the new OS onto the SD card and everything is functioning!

However, I still have a small issue: the spectrum displays perfectly, but not the error signal. The latter is either completely constant, or it reduces to noise around zero, or to cos(ωmod×t). I’ve tried to stabilize the signal as much as possible for the physical part, but to no avail. I don’t know if anyone else here has encountered this same problem, but if someone knows a solution, I’m all ears :)
