Also, in the linkage priority tool, clicking on Resistance Weight in CAV Calculation yields the following: "Decimal value between 0 and 1 to be multiplied by the normalized mean resistance for the core."
It should mention this is inverse of resistance, something like:
"Decimal value between 0 and 1 to be multiplied by the inverted normalized mean resistance for the core (i.e. cores with a low mean resistance will have a higher core area value)."
Thank you Darren for making commits regarding the Jan 27th comment! I'll assume that one is resolved. The July 22nd comment still stands as as issue for improvement.
Volunteer opportunity: write The final section of the Linkage Priority tutorial about Expert Opinion. We could also use help with the formatting of the tutorial, such as using less page space for parameter values, like section 10.4 compared to earlier sections, or simply documenting with text the key parameters for a given run. Would also be great to have a dictionary of all the fields created in the cores and lcp_paths shapefiles. And Make sure Core Area Value gets added to Cores file.
