As it stands now, the value of xkos:classifiedUnder is limited especially with explanations such as “thus, it is expected that xkos:classifiedUnder will be specialized for different classification systems” which suggests a mechanism for redefining it using rdfs:subProperty.
Can I recommend the use of the qualification pattern as a mean to record the conditions in which this classification was done (see also the discussion on mapping justifications - will add reference to the issue later)
