Mainly a question for @timbl but would you consider supporting data islands (aka data blocks)?
I recall TimBL suggesting at Social WG F2F in Paris to instead of HTML+RDFa use script tags to embed RDF in HTML. I really doubt that many people will actually edit RDFa.

@danbri has recently suggested that many millions of web sites are now publishing RDF using data islands.
@kidehen has also done some really impressive demos data islands
Additionally if you think about it. When tabulator does conneg on a .ttl resource, for example, it brings back html with a data browser. Wouldnt it be better if that .html actually had a data island in it?
Mainly checking to see if that quote about using data islands over RDFa is a fair representation. That being the case could we start to add data islands to the rdflib.js wish list and tooling?
