Feature Request: check if URL already bookmarked #57

I don't know if this is possible, but it would be nice if the browser extension could check whether a page is already bookmarked and would then stop you from bookmarking it twice; or it would at least notify that this URL is already in the database.

I'm using the Firefox extension.

Hello I think at some point i discussed this with @daniel31x13, He told this is intended behaviour because maybe you would want to include the bookmark in different collections, but i agree that at least there should be a notify saying that the URL is already bookmarked.

@crkos thanks for following up on it.

Maybe another enhancement which IMO would improve convenience: if a link is already bookmarked, give the option to edit/update it. For example, the details of the bookmark (collection, tags, etc.) would already be filled in and then users can edit them. Then there would be 2 buttons on the bottom: one to update the existing bookmark, and one to save it as a new bookmark.
