FC when trying to dial a phone number #1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. keypad
2. voice

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
place phone call

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Droid 1

won't place calls using LauncherPro or ADW either

I received the same issue after trying to restore my contacts via Titanium 
Backup.  Looking further I realized that the phone app was completely replaced 
from Stock and that my restore messed it up.  Resolution... wipe cache and 
reinstall ROM.

Ditto. Even opening a contact for me FC's the phone app. The phone app would 
also force close *while* I was receiving a call. I would like to know what the 
fix update actually fixes because it did not seem to fix this for me. I will 
reinstall and wipe data and cache and then reinstall the fix to be sure, but as 
of right now I'm still using the alternate dialer droid-life offered as a fix.
