Where are you dragging and dropping to exactly?

Drop targets are accepted over the editor area for drop files.

Any errors in the Editra Log window (View->Shelf) while trying to perform this
operation?

I tried to drag and drop into every region of the window.
There are no errors in the Editra Log Window.

Working on Debian Testing and Gnome 3 drag&drop works.
It seems to me that this is some sort of Unity issue in Ubuntu. But I'm not
sure.

I have been unable to reproduce this on my Ubuntu system.

Steps:
1) open editra
2) open file manager / have files on desktop
3) Drag file to editor window
4) see + sign showning drop is ok
5) drop file
6) file is opened.

Anything I am missing here?

sorry I think I made a mistake.

i mounted a samba-share via nautilus. drag and drop from this share does not
work (still). when i copy the file from the share/nautilus to the desktop or
any other folder on my machine, then dragging &dropping this file works for me
too.

so probably this has nothing to do with editra.
sorry again
