Hide edge line #783

I want to hide permanently the edge line. When i hide it appears again when 
opening the app again or opening a new document.

Please fix this as soon as possible. The edge line is very annoying

Guessing you are changing this from the menu option? If you want settings to 
remain permanent you need to change them from the Preference dialog. Menu 
settings are per document per session (i.e temporary settings).

Closing as Invalid. If you are setting this from the preference dialog then 
please supply the requested information.

Version of Editra your using?
What operating system?
Using built binary from editra.org or source?
