There are a number of enhancements that are needed to support non-2049 ports in NFSv4 referral target locations.
The current mechanism for pulling referral information from mountd does not handle an alternate port on the target.
Junction XML can store an alternate port, but the nfsref command has no user interface to specify one
The fs_locations attribute will only carry an alternate port when using the universal address form (no way to do it when using a DNS labal)
The plan is to replace the mountd upcall with a new netlink protocol that will enable very good extensibility. The other two issues should be only technicalities.
