Weird pen tip behaviour on surface pro 9 #143

I installed iptsd on a surface pro 9 running opensuse with the surface kernel. The touch screen works perfect and gestures are recognised, and the eraser of the stylus also works as expected (click when touching the screen), however the tip seems to produce random clicks when touching the screen. I tried both using the fedora rpm package and building iptsd myself, with the same results. Is there any config that can cause this?
