Clean-up for the recent Surface Aggregator Module changes. This also splits up the individual commits a bit more in a way that makes more sense for upstreaming.
This should essentially be the final(-ish) version for Surface Pro 8 support, ready for upstreaming as long as testing does not reveal any issues.
