Rebooting or shutting down my Surface Book 1 is lately blocked by the Intel Precise Touch & Stylus Daemon.
The shutdown first hangs at A stop job is running for Intel Precise Touch & Stylus Daemon with a countdown for several minutes.
If I wait long enough it proceeds and then hangs again with the message systemd-shutdown[1]: Waiting for process iptsd.
Finally with enough patience it culminates in a kernel panic with the note systemd-shutdown[1] exited with irqs disabled.
The kernel panic is Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init! exitcode=0x00000009.
Therefore I need to brute force shutdown my Surface Book by pressing the Power-switch for 30 sec.
