Surface Pro 5 No Battery Status After Installing Power Profile Daemon #1429

After installing Power Profile Daemon to enable Power Profiles on my Surface Pro 5 (2017), the battery status indicator and percentage disappeared, and there is no way to re-enable it. I would like to fix this if possible

Device: Microsoft Surface Pro 5 (2017)
Kernel version: Linux Surface-Pro-5 6.8.6-arch1-1-surface
Distribution: RebornOS based on Arch Linux

Any help would be appreciated, as this is the last step I need to have my Surface Pro 5 fully working on Linux
