I have been holding of installing linux on my Surface Pro X simply because i didnt think it was possible - have a Lenovo X13S that works perfect with Ubuntu.
Seeing it is possible I went looking for a prebuilt image without luck - however, I was able to boot and install a base-installation of Armbian Debian/Ubuntu Minimal (Uefi Arm64) - on Debian it was even possible to install Gnome desktop (without any hardware support of course)
I was even able to boot the installment of Fedora 40 Arm64, but it failed to install - no big suprise there.
I have seen and booted the prebuilt arch start-image here on github, but since im not familiar with arch, i have been holding off.

Is it still the best and only option ?
