This is a series of workshops with the idea of helping people learn what to do when you hit a brick wall, and to show people how to learn and solve their problems on their own.
The idea is that a few people who know their way around a Linux system set up a few machines which are intentionally broken by them and then they are given to people to fix.
About
Most of what I've learned about Linux is through breaking something and then spending the next two weeks trying to fix it, asking on forums, looking on the internet, etc. I think that experience gives you a skill that learning things formally doesn't. How to learn. So, with these workshops, I want people to learn how to learn themselves when they are stuck.
People volunteer on overseeing the workshop and giving their laptops for the workshops. The volunteer given laptops are broken intentionally and given to the audience to fix in groups. The volunteers will guide everyone through the process, and at the end, the unfixed laptops will be given back to the volunteers fixed by us.
Pre-requisites

Required setups: Not required, but if you have a broken installation, do bring it :)
