Bug : Ghost applications showing up on the dock ... #750

Describe the bug

There are some unexplained ghost application icons on the dock ...

Expected behavior

Only applications which have docked or are open and running should show up on the dock

Can you tell us how we can reproduce the bug?

I am sorry ... they just are there ... something unknowingly without any cue, seems to have triggered their placement ...

I was trying to look for the folder that houses the icons added to the dock ... a folder where the icons marked for startup are placed ... I was hoping i could find these ghost entries to look for their source ... Is there any such folder where the icons pinned to the dock are placed ?
