According to step 2"watch it successfully complete the install progress bar going from 0% to 50% then after it gets to 50% in 5 seconds to 100%",I guess your ISO was damaged.Did you do a md5 sum before install? Normally, I have never encountered a situation where it takes 5 seconds to go from 50% to 100%.

already had tried to redownload the iso 4 times and install again same thing happens both in rc1 iso and in rc2 md5 is fine image soo it aint corrupt iso either something hardware specific or some shitshow with partitioning like 100 mb efi partition not being enough?

So this issue may deepin-installer's I think.Have you tried installing deepin completely(instead of manually mounting the partition)? If it is deepin single system?!

All thing notice me that,deepin-installer seems like have the bug ...

We may need to confirm the partition of your installation, can provide a picture of the entire installation process to see. @kobe337 Pay attention to this issue.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-tQWQjcv4Y made a video of how the install goes- sorry for shaky camera

According to the information provided by the user, the video shows that a 2G efi partition is used, a 31G root partition, and a 51G data partition @ArchieMeng

I have no idea what happened to you. Maybe you can launch the "try deepin 23" mode, and reinstall the grub EFI with reference https://wiki.debian.org/GrubEFIReinstall. Additionally, is there any other Linux distros you tried without such issues?

pop os installs and boots just fine in a dual boot with windows - but it uses systemd-boot instead of grub

So wired. This doesn't make sense that systemd-boot works while grub won't. Have you tried Ubuntu? If so, all distros using Grub won't work on your device.
