Make use of the systems gstreamer? #1

I understand the plugin is still in development so I haven't been able to run it yet, so this is a theoretical question - is it possible not to have to bundle non-free codecs and use the system-installed ones instead?

As far as I understand the environment variables we're using, the plugins are loaded before the system ones are considered, but they don't prevent plugins being loaded from the system. But I'm not an expert, you might have to check out the GStreamer man page.
