Feature request: Cheating — zeroing out the construction time of a part. #72

Together with KCT, I use ScrapYard. In addition to KCT and SY, I also use RealChute and Ferram Aerospace Research. ScrapYard for some reason can't process parachutes from RealChute correctly (more information here) and as a result I have to build parachutes again, even though I already have them. FAR has it's own built-in implementation of RealChute, so it's also impossible to re-use parachutes with it.

It is possible that this can happen with other modifications, so I suggest adding the option to reset the construction time for a specific part to KCT. (for the part already installed on the rocket, not in the catalog)

Not sure I fully understand, please elaborate. Also, @siimav might understand this better, since he does a lot of work for it with RO

please elaborate

I suggest adding a button like "it will take 0 seconds to build this part via KCT" to the contextual menu of the part installed on the vessel. This is a cheat, but it can help if the KCT or companion mod doesn't handle some part correctly.

RO/RP-1 uses both RealChute and FAR and we have no issues with chute costs. No idea what the effect of SY is since we don't support it nor have it installed.

I forgot to add the link and here it is.

So, can I expect a cheat button to appear soon, or is my suggestion rejected?
