Mk0 small Modular wing no lift surface #39

Hello,. great mod, I have noticed the Mk0 and Mk0b small modular wings aswell as the elevon 0b doesn't generate a lifting surface.

A bit late, but I just looked at all the configs, and they all either generate lift or are control surfaces. Can you check with the current version and let me know exactly wihch parts you are having problems with?

I've noticed that they do have lifting surface, just very little, and require a substantial angle to get any usable lift.

They might need their lifting values tweaked a bit.

I'd also reduce their maximum collision speed, maximum temperature and maximum dynamic pressure to be substantially lower than the regular wing models. They aren't designed to go hypersonic or survive reentry.

Edit -- Update: The lifting area is right on the wings, but the mass is too high. It weighs just as much as a thicker wing segment of the same wing area.

On the 0A flap, the lifting area is roughly 20%-25% to small and should be either 0.1 or 0.125 instead of 0.08 Also, the control surface portion should be set to 100%,

The 0B flap has too large a surface are at 0.3 instead of 0.25-0.2 It's control surface portion is again wrong.

They are all stronger than the stock wings instead of weaker, and have equal temperature tolerance instead of less.

I recommend the following limuts: Temp: 934/934 (from stock basic fin) Impact: 10 m/s (From Mk0 liquid fuel fuselage), 2/3s as strong as the regular wings.

I can draft up an updated config file later if you need me to.

A bit late, but I’d be pleased to see an updated config, either a full file or a PR here.

I'll look into it my next coding session. :+1:
