Update tests, add some performance tests, and update kernel #18

Flushing my patch queue:

Update kernel to 4.14.26
Add some performance tests for pull, build, and dd on a volume mount
Add volume mount test with non-ascii characters in the file name
Use a dedicated temp dir for most tests
use the testname for container images
and a bunch of other small fixes
