GPaste Reloaded (gpaste-reloaded@feuerfuchs.eu) freezes Cinnamon Desktop

• Applet version/Build date: Version 2.6 (2019-10-25 07:22:15)
• Cinnamon version: 4.4.8
• Distribution: Linux Mint 19.3 Cinnamon
• Graphics hardware and driver used: Intel Corporation 2nd Generation Core Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller with standard driver
• Snippet or attachment of ~/.xsession-errors: How do i now which is the right snippet, there is only this error:

(cinnamon:9321): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: 13:43:06.729: Settings schema 'org.gnome.GPaste' is not installed

Notify author of applet @feuerfuchs.eu

Issue Desktop freezes and than falls into fallback-mode

Steps to reproduce

• install and add applet
• applet promts "gpast is not installed"
• install gir1.2-gpaste-1.0
• restart cinnamon
• desktop
• Desktop freezes and than falls into fallback-mode

Expected behaviour no freezing, using of the applet
