What happened?

After an update of this applet, Cinnamon is restarted and crashes Thunderbird: https://github.com/linuxmint/cinnamon/issues/12154

I can't do much with this unless you can provide me with your full Looking Glass log.

It happens just now, there were a Weather applet update. looking_glass.log

There is nothing in the logs that indicate a crash. Although it always seems to end when XAppStatusIcons are added to the status bar.

So maybe it's the system tray with one of the applications that are registering that causes the crash?
