What happened?

The applet seems to work great during my initial configuration, but once I removed the original notifications@cinnamon.org, it stopped showing the notification history. Adding the other applet back makes it start to count and show notifications again.

Notifications-enhanced is a fork of original applet. Therefore you can't use them togheter because applets use part of the same code. You need to remove original applet in first and restart cinnamon.
