Cinnamon Randomly Crashes

Issue Cinnamon Randomly Crashes

This keeps happening, it has crashed several times since this report. It has, for sure, something to do with typing in the menu search box StackTrace.log .

Unfortunately, his keeps happening on LM21 too. This has something to do with typing in the menu search box.

I am getting random Cinnamon crashes also. The programs in use: rhythmbox, mysql, php, apache2, geany. Trace of most recent occurrence is here: https://termbin.com/g6ue It has happened three times in the last three hours and a number of times over the last few days. I was going to add recent update history from update manager, but there seems no way to copy and paste it.

I have the same problem on Ubuntu 22.04.3 with Cinnamon 5.2.7. The crash report is at https://server.famion.eu/cinnamon-crash.gz (too big to be uploaded here). I also noted the following messages shown by dmesg:

The system restarted and works smoothly after; the hardware is an Intel NUC8i7BEH system with an Intel i915 graphic board.
