[request] auto back to sleep #10893

Open archee565 opened 2 years ago

A suspended computer wakes up on moving the mouse accidentally, and gets to the lock screen. If user doesn't start typing a login password for 30 seconds, it should automatically go back to sleep. (Pop OS does this) Additionally, the sleep button should work during lock screen too.

I can't help with this at all but I just randomly stumbled onto this while searching for an unrelated issue and wanted to suggest that maybe 30 seconds is a bit short.

That being said, on Cinnamon for the normal desktop, Mint's default shortest time for automatically going to sleep is 5 minutes which might be a bit long... so maybe something like 1 to 2 minutes could be ideal.
