 * Cinnamon version (cinnamon --version)
Cinnamon 5.4.9
 * Distribution - (Mint 17.2, Arch, Fedora 25, etc...)
Mint 21
 * Graphics hardware *and* driver used
Radeon 570 Mesa drivers
Ryzen 5 2600 64 bit

Issue Gnome programs don't use current theme. https://i.imgur.com/UanEXZW.png

Steps to reproduce I'm using arc-theme from the repos. Apply theme Arc-Dark for applications and Desktop. Open Gnome default programs like calculator, file roller, disks, system monitor etc...

Expected behaviour The theme to carry across.

Other information I also dual boot Cinnamon on Fedora version 5.2.7 and it has the same issue. There was no issues in Mint 20.3

libadwaita

This is a known issue for GNOME applications that do not use client side decorations (CSD) For reference see: https://github.com/linuxmint/mint21-beta/issues/86

@Secret-chest if the apps really are the default, and not something from some kind of ppa, flatpak, etc., this has nothing to do with libadwaita. Nothing in Mint uses it by default.

@Harry-W-Haines-III That is a totally different issue. It has nothing to do with this. That is about csd apps using libhandy and only has to do with the bottom corners being rounded.

Unless there is some missing information here, I have no idea what would cause this. I've never seen the issue and your screenshot clearly shows that your app is using the Adwaita theme.
