Semantic application launch in Mint Menu (almost there)

Examples:

In Windows Vista/7 (Start menu)

• press the windows key, start typing "firefox", when firefox is on top of the filtered list press enter, firefox launches

In Ubuntu (Unity's dash)

• press the windows key, start typing "firefox", when firefox is on top of the filtered list press enter, firefox launches

In Mint 12 MGSE (overview dash)

• press the windows key, start typing "firefox", when firefox is on top of the filtered list press enter, firefox launches

In Mac OS X (Spotlight)

• press Cmd-space, start typing "firefox", when firefox is on top of the filtered list press enter, firefox launches

In Cinnamon (Mint Menu search)

• press the windows key, start typing "firefox", when firefox is on top of the filtered list press enter .... nothing happens

So close! Is there any chance this vital last step will find its way into Cinnamon?
