Issue

In Telegram 4.2 (Snap) any call window (personal or group chat) that opens is noninteractive, impossible even to minimize, resize or close it. Instead of clicking on it, mouse falls through and interacts with next window under it. Telegram support sent me here https://github.com/telegramdesktop/tdesktop/issues/25114 Indeed, same snap version of Telegram works without issues on Ubuntu 22.04.1

Steps to reproduce

Install Telegram 4.2 via snap. Join any audio call or enter video group chat

Expected behaviour

You can interact with interface of additionally opened window

Other information

Basic Telegram window works as intended. Only extra window cannot be clicked

Configuration info, if applicable

If this bug report is related to an Applet, Desklet or Extension, please paste (or use a pastebin service) the offending extension's settings, if it has any. You can obtain this by opening its configuration, clicking the 'hamburger' button in the upper-right corner of the window, and selecting "Export to a file". Please be sure to review the contents and remove any personal data it may contain.

I can't reproduce this:

Mint 20.3 - min/max/close buttons work fine, as do resizing or moving the window by dragging. The one quirk I noticed is when dragging the window, it gets stuck the mouse until I click again.

I found this: https://github.com/telegramdesktop/tdesktop/issues/10348, and attempting to tile the window results in what's described there as well, so this looks like the same issue. I don't know much about snaps - do the libraries used match those of the distro you run on or what they were built with? I'm not sure...

Mint 21 - Every seems to work fine - dragging, tiling, window controls.

That's weird, but accidentally I found that issue appears only when my bluetooth headset connected to laptop. Without bluetooth connection I also have no issue

leonidgo commented 2 years ago

And the same problem persists when I connect wired headset

leonidgo commented 2 years ago

If I first connect headset (BT or wired) and then open Telegram - call window works fine. But if I open Telegram and only then join headset then this problem occurs

leonidgo commented 2 years ago

In the recent time this bug occurs randomly (Telegram 4.2.4). I can join and disconnect to audio chat several times in a row and in some of them I will be able to click on call window and in others not.

Hello, could I get to know, what is the status here? Please see my additional screenshots at the issues from Telegram Desktop (the issue was closed since it is a cinnamon issue).
