Steps to reproduce
1.) Install new copy of LM Cinnamon, Mate, or Xfce from HeAnet Ireland.
2.) Reboot and open Update Manager via the icon on the bottom right of the taskbar.
3.) Decline Blue banner asking to switch to a local mirror.
4.) Refresh the list of updates (Circular Icon w/ refresh label on the top icon list).
5.) Notice message stating a new version of Update Manager is Available, and press Ok in the dialog box.
6.) Watch in Disconcerting panic as suddenly the Update Manager crashes and
signs you out of your session.
7.) Log back in and view error messages.
Expected behavior
1.) Install new copy of LM Cinnamon, Mate, or Xfce from HeAnet Ireland.
2.) Reboot and open Update Manager via the icon on the bottom right of the taskbar.
3.) Decline Blue banner asking to switch to a local mirror.
