Bug description

When entering the Cinnamon start menu, it has an small length. Making difficult to search programs through the search bar. This also happens on Live Media of Mint 21.3. bug

Steps to reproduce

  1. Enter the Cinnamon start menu

Expected behavior

See the Cinnamon menu with its normal length.

Additional information

The .xsession-errors file prompts this everytime I open the Cinnamon menu: (cinnamon:1878): Clutter-CRITICAL **: 16:33:47.129: ClutterBoxLayout child StBoxLayout natural height: 0,000000 < minimum 160,000000 for width 478,000000

This sometimes happens but you can click and drag the corner to resize it. Is that not working?

Is there a reliable way to make this small menu happen? I'm curious as to what might cause it.

This also happens on Live Media sometimes. I did fix it with the simple solution by @rcalixte. @fredcw I dont know exactly how this happens. I will update to Mint 22 to see if this happens again.
