The recent upgrade of acl and libacl1 caused a screen tearing to occur in the start menu. This made some words of the start menu leave an afterimage and made it seem like part of the names are repeating in a segregated box to the left side but after some time it renders it as it should. I am not able to describe it clearly but it is like this:
| Programming |ng | right box containing application icons and entries
Steps to reproduce
Upgrade acl to 2.3.2-1build1.
Upgrade libacl1 to 2.3.2-1build1.
Expected behavior
Start menu should be rendered without screen tearing.
Distribution
Linux Mint 22 Wilma
Package version
Cinnamon 6.2.9
Graphics hardware in use
Intel TigerLake-H GT1 [UHD Graphics], NVIDIA TU117GLM [T600 Mobile] discreete GPU
Frequency
Quite often
