Translations - different names in menu and System settings #3600

See below for differences in French, but there are maybe translation strings that can be removed as they point to the same thing but allow different names.

Accessibilité (dans paramètres systèmes) - Accès universel (menu) Programmes au démarrage (dans paramètres systèmes) - Applications au démarrage (menu) Affichage (dans paramètres systèmes) - AffichageS (menu) CouleurS (dans paramètres systèmes) - Couleur (menu) Tablette graphique (dans paramètres systèmes) - Graphics Tablet (menu)

Pilotes de périphériques (dans paramètres systèmes) - Gestionnaire de pilotes (menu) Écran de connexion (dans paramètres systèmes) - Fenêtre de connexion (menu) Sources de mise à jour (dans paramètres systèmes) - Sources de logiciels (menu)

I've installed French language on my system (Mint 18, Cinnamon 3.0.7) and checked the differences in translated names posted by @donlencho.

I have found only 2 differences from the posted list:

  1. CouleurS (dans paramètres systèmes) - Couleur (menu)
  2. Sources de mise à jour (dans paramètres systèmes) - Sources de logiciels (menu)

All other differences have been fixed.

Some are fixed, but these three remain (Cinnamon 3.4.6):

CouleurS (dans paramètres systèmes) - Couleur (menu) Écran de connexion (dans paramètres systèmes) - Fenêtre de connexion (menu) Sources de mise à jour (dans paramètres systèmes) - Sources de logiciels (menu)

Thanks for the reminder, I had forgotten about this issue!

Yep, the same three are left: CouleurS (dans paramètres systèmes) - Couleur (menu) Écran de connexion (dans paramètres systèmes) - Fenêtre de connexion (menu) Sources de mise à jour (dans paramètres systèmes) - Sources de logiciels (menu)

But the issue I was raising was that they should probably be the same string, not just the same text, as they are the same thing! So correcting the second translation to match the first is making the issue invisible, but it will still be there. Issue could also be there in other languages. Maybe there is a reason to have different strings for those things, but I can't see it. Thanks for gathering info ;-)
