Issue
Menu, Volume, Battery, Network Applets will not respond to touch screen input (taps or drag) or mouse if you launch by tapping. Menu launched by clicking with mouse then you can tap/drag in the menu area. Other applets no way to input unless you click on the icon in system tray first.
this is only when the panel is not in focus, however if the panel already has focus (you open a differnt applet first) the touch works as expected which implies that this is a focus issue.
when this happens the program behind the applet continues to have focus and clicks and taps take affect there. this only happens with specific apps such as terminal and firefox
Steps to reproduce
Tap on Menu, Volume, Battery, Network Icon in System Tray/Panel then no input allowed in applet area. Click on icon first, tap then allowed
Expected behaviour
Touch Screen Taps work everywhere else, just not in these applets
I can reproduce this. With the calendar applet for example, I can tap to click but can't click anything inside the applet. It also won't then close without clicking the applet again.
