Cinnamon slow start #8441

 * Cinnamon version Cinnamon 4.0.9
 * Distribution - Linux Mint 19.1 Tessa
 * Graphics hardware: nvidia with proprietary driver
 * 64 bit
 * Attach /home/<username>/.xsession-errors, or /var/log/syslog

Issue After Cinnamon login the mouse cursor is visible on black screen and it hangs for ~30 sec

Steps to reproduce Install Mint 19.1 and login

Expected behaviour Fast login

Other information On the first start it was quick but when i added cpu and gpu temp applets to the panel it starts to get slower. So i reset the panels modifications and deleted the newly installed applets but the problem persists. I also disabled the smart card service in Cinnamon without any change in the freeze at login.

Cinnamon 4.8.6 Mint 20.1 64bit

I'm not able to reproduce this issue nor I experienced the issue. Is this still an issue for anyone with the latest version of Mint? Thanks.
