Latest Kernel update causes kernel panic #572

On a Dell Latitude e5550 with Intel Core i5-6200, the latest Kernel update pushed through the software manager causes the system to be unable to boot, creating kernel panics. Once that kernel is installed, previous kernels don't boot either.

It's the third time I try it, with the same results everytime. The PC works fine on Ubuntu 22.04 and on Linux Mint with previous kernel.

inxi when laptop boots fine: CPU: dual core Intel Core i5-6200U (-MT MCP-) speed/min/max: 2595/400/2800 MHz Kernel: 5.15.0-67-generic x86_64 Up: 11m Mem: 3941.3/15893.0 MiB (24.8%) Storage: 1.82 TiB (37.5% used) Procs: 275 Shell: Bash inxi: 3.3.13 The problematic kernel that is pushed through the software update is 5.15.0-69.76

I use LVM whole disk encryption, if ever that changes something.
