Background #90

Hi ALL, I downloaded and installed Linux Mint 19.1, and these are the issues I have so far encountered. 1) I am trying to set my desktop Background to a folder in my pictures folder, it would not let me do that. So I took all images in the folder, moved them to my pictures folder, it can find them, but does not play well with them. Under Linux Mint 19 this was not an issue. I set my Background to those images, it does not change, and if it does, when I have to cycle through the images when it changes it goes back to the Linux Images.

2) it does not recognize my USB camera, the 19 version did.

These are some issues I have found so far.

  1. I'm able to use background pictures from the Pictures folder directly and also from a folder within the Pictures folder I've also set up background slideshow, and it cycles between the folder that is in use (Pictures or Pictures/backgrounds)

Can't reproduce or am i missing something?

Its working here the way it always has. Are you on a live boot or installed to a drive with all the updates?
