The old aqua is rather dull, I like the new one better.

zboraon commented 4 years ago

I would like it to be more like breeze theme blue. This is now a little bit of dark blue not aqua.

kongreddgrass commented 4 years ago

The color of booth themes (the old and new one) not corresponds to the real aqua-color. But i like the new one more than the new Mint-Y-Blue-Theme and would even prefer it over the new Mint-Y-Blue. In this case it is very difficult for me to make a choice. If you want to continue to use this theme, I would desaturate the new color and lighten it up a bit.

1idd0kun commented 4 years ago

The old one is too dull. The new one is better but it should be a little desaturated.

zboraon commented 4 years ago

what about rgb(16, 165, 245)?

bluz71 commented 4 years ago

New is better, however I recommend to back of the brightness by 25% or so.

This "new" is sort of an old one from me. It was my new Blue, version 11. My fault. I did not have a good communication channel. I should have had a GitHub repo for this right from the start, to make sure you always get the latest updates. Anyway, my current one, still being tested, is: #0AA3C2 (HSL 190,90,40). The hue is warmer (-10). The sat. is very high (90), but that’s compensated by a lower lightness (40).

SebastJava commented 4 years ago

Aqua This is not a distracting background color, this is the focus color. So my focus color is... colored. And contrasted. A warmer hue: 190. At full saturation because the lightness is reduced.

I prefer the new aqua!
