Installer tells me I don't have an EFI partition even on my BIOS-only machines. It then eventually fails to install Grub. I believe it might be needed on my modern Samsung Ativ Book Plus, but it just did it on an old Asus laptop as well. On the Samsung I have it set in a legacy mode that allowed a previous release of Mint/Cinnamon to install and boot correctly. These are X86/64 machines.
Clearly there is not EFI partition on the live/installer ISO, so this seems like an issue with what the installer does. I'm happy to reproduce this or try workarounds.
