LM20 Cinnamon Beta Not Responding to Keyboard #131

Ryzen5/GT710 USB wired keyboard

LM20 Beta installed via compatibility mode, "nomodeset" applied, Nvidia drivers installed.

Problem:

Does not respond to keyboard. Selected UK keyboard with Windows keys during install, tried changing to standard UK keyboard in settings (no effect). Need on-screen keyboard to log in at all.

Debugging:

Tried booting LM20beta live from DVD in compatibility mode. Started text editor. Still no keyboard. Returned to 18.2 installation, keyboard works.

When I was trying to boot without compatibility mode and getting no video output (no NVidia drivers), I was able to get console via Ctrl-Alt-F4 and operate the console. I will test this again...

Cannot now reproduce the problem. Installed LM20 operates with the keyboard correctly.

Appears to have been due to my KVM switch.
