Sometimes browsing through package lists in mintinstall can be a bit much. Part of that is because there are multiple packages with the same results, but different packaging method. For example, searching for "Firefox" will give me both the Firefox Flatpak and the Firefox System Package in two separate boxes.
I think it would help streamline the display of packages if mintinstall could combine Flatpak and System Packages on search results (as well as on the Featured/Top Rated lists) when both are available. When you click on a search result to see information, and both types are available, mintinstall already lets you switch between the two package types in the information view using a dropdown. This would just be an extension of that idea.
Instead of the search results showing the Flatpak icon if it's a Flatpak, and nothing if it's a System Package, it could show the Flatpak icon and the LM logo (or some icon indicating System Package), both at the bottom of the same box if both are available instead of having two separate boxes in the list. When the user clicks it, it could default to one of the two (my preference would be System Package), but the user can select which one they install from there using the dropdown that's already implemented.
