mintreport-tray leaving zombies

I've had several zombies on three 19.3 64 Cinnamon systems - all trace back to mintreport-tray.

A zombie ALWAYS occurs when the System Reports window is opened from the system tray icon. NO zombie if System Reports is opened manually from menu.

The problem is consistently reproducible...

Test 1:

• (re)boot the system
• check for 'any' zombies
  • NO zombies
• notification icon shows up in system tray
  • hover/hint: "Some system reports require your attention"
• check for zombie
  • NO zombie
• click notification icon in system tray
  • System Reports window opens
• check for zombie
  • YES
• close System Reports
• check for zombie
  • YES, zombie remains

Test 2 - manually run System Reports from menu

• kill mintreport-tray
  • zombie gone (of course)
• run 'System Reports' from menu
• System Reports window opens
  • reports status/issues
• check for zombie
  • NO zombie
• close - click 'X' - System Reports window
• check for zombie
  • NO zombie

Test 3

• (re)boot the system
• check for any zombies
  • NO zombies
• notification icon shows up in system tray
  • hover/hint: "Some system reports require your attention"
• check for zombie
  • NO zombie
• run 'System Reports' manually from menu - DO NOT click notification in system tray +- perform NO action, OR click "Ignore this report"
• check for zombie
  • NO zombie
• close - click 'X' - System Reports window
• check for zombie
  • NO zombie
• notification icon remains in system tray
• click notification icon in system tray
  • System Reports window opens
• check for zombie
  • YES ...

Test 4

• kill any mintreport-tray, killing any related zombies as well
• start mintreport-tray as user from command line
  • $ mintreport-tray &
• System Reports window opens
  • reports status/issues
• check for zombie
  • YES zombie
