I'd like to give some feedback and suggest some improvements on the update notification system in Linux Mint 20.2
First of all, I think the settings are very comprehensive, but I'd like to suggest allowing the users to also adjust the snooze duration when a notification is dismissed. I think this is another setting people may want to adjust, and I've been surprised not to see it in the settings.
On the other hand, differentiating between checking the age of updates pure date vs. logged in days seems a bit overboard to me, and I'm afraid it would be confusing to new users. Are you sure we really need separate options ?
Finally, the notification contains a button called "enable automatic updates", which might seem a bit pushy to some people. Considering all this button does is to open the update settings, why not just call it "open settings" ?
Please note - I am aware these points could go to separate issues, but I didn't want to flood the bug tracker with all of them. Please tell me if you'd like me to move any of these points to a dedicated issue !
