Can you name some examples of packages this happens for? And what is your Linux Mint version.
Can you name some examples of packages this happens for? And what is your Linux Mint version.
Mint 20, it happens with some packages via Ubuntu's Launchpad repository.
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. For some packages it only shows a brief uninformative worthless useless changelog entry, but when I go to the shell and type aptitude changelog package it offers to download the full changelog that has the actual informative information of the update.
This means I cannot use mintupdate for packages that I have to check the full changelog at the shell, so why bother with using mintupdate in this case?
I do not blindly install or update packages, I want full change log entries on the updates.
Describe the solution you'd like An option to set "Download full changelog" so I get to see the actual changes rather than gibberish worthless partial changelog text.
Describe alternatives you've considered Removing mintupdate and just using the shell commands.
