It is hard to keep ophaned packages, because mintupdate closes the windows that shows them #751

Describe the bug The program told me I had orphaned packages and that I could keep them if I altered the 'preferences' accordingly. I managed to work out which preferences were at issue. (The lack of a clear pointer there is a subsidiary problem.) But when I opened the preferences, the list of orphaned packages . . closed.

Screenshots

I tried to take a screenshot of the 'expo' view, showing that when the preferences window was open, the list of packages was not displayed. But my screenshot tool - namely. Flameshot - could not capture the Expo view.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Have orphan packages.
  2. Run mintupdate.
  3. Get list of orphaned packages.
  4. Try to save the orphans, so to speak.
  5. Discover that the names of the orphans have vanished.

Expected behavior A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.

Ah, I see that the 'back' button does show the list but . . pressing it removes the 'saving' window.

What should happen is that one should be able to see the list of orphans, and the list of orphans-one-wants-to-save, concurrently.
