Describe the bug
The program told me I had orphaned packages and that I could keep them if I altered the 'preferences' accordingly. I managed to work out which preferences were at issue. (The lack of a clear pointer there is a subsidiary problem.) But when I opened the preferences, the list of orphaned packages . . closed.
Screenshots
I tried to take a screenshot of the 'expo' view, showing that when the preferences window was open, the list of packages was not displayed. But my screenshot tool - namely. Flameshot - could not capture the Expo view.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Have orphan packages.
Run mintupdate.
Get list of orphaned packages.
Try to save the orphans, so to speak.
Discover that the names of the orphans have vanished.
Expected behavior
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.
Ah, I see that the 'back' button does show the list but . . pressing it removes the 'saving' window.
What should happen is that one should be able to see the list of orphans, and the list of orphans-one-wants-to-save, concurrently.
