I'd like to be able to use the delete key in order to remove keys and indeed in order to remove PPAs and 'additional repositories'. At present, deleting many-and-scattered items (e.g. keys) is bad ergonomics. One can use to make multiple deletions, but only of adjacent items.

There is no alernative solution, at least unless one uses a different tool. It is true that, in a way, using the mouse is an alternative solution; but that use - or its necessity - is categorized better as the very problem,
